Hi there! Downloading your eAadhaar card is easy and only takes a few steps.
- First, go to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) - https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
- Click the Login Button; enter your Aadhaar Number and Captcha code.
- Once you've done that, click "Sent OTP".
Download eAadhaar Card Online
- Once you receive the OTP, enter it and click on "Login".
- Then click “Download Aadhaar” under the Service section.
- Review your Demographics Data (If you wish to correct or update any of the demographics data, please visit the "Update Aadhaar Online" section or the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra.) then click “Download”
- Your eAadhaar card will be downloaded to your device.
If Aadhaar Card is generated:
- If your aadhaar card is generated you will forward to the next page, where you can download your eAadhaar Card.
- The Aadhaar letter PDF Password will be in 8 characters
- Combination of the first 4 (four) letters of your name (as in Aadhaar) in CAPITAL letters and Year of Birth in YYYY format.
- Example: Your name is ANISH Y KUMAR Your Year of Birth is 1989
- Then your e-Aadhaar password is ANIS1989
If your eAadhaar card is not yet generated then you will get the following errors.
- “ID provided by you is not available. Please check back
after a few days”. – If this error is shown then you need to wait a week
more and check again. This error occurs because your ID does not reach the
main office. This process takes some time. If it shows the same error then
you need to wait again a week more.
- “Your Aadhaar enrollment has failed. Your Aadhaar could
not be generated due to a data/process error in your enrollment. Please
re-enroll yourself at the nearest enrollment center”. – This error occurs
because there is some IDs don’t match at the main office or Some IDs must
be missing. If this error is shown then you need to go to the Aadhaar card
enrollment center and need to ask the people there about this.
